The opening ceremony of the “ Seeds of Hope” exhibition was held on 22 June 2010 at the Yu Hua School Hall.

The main objective of the exhibition is to get students to understand importance of environment protection. Mrs. Lim Hong Kuan, the representative of SGM and Mr. Chan Kai Choon, the principal of SMJK Yu Hua gave speeches to commutate the event the principal advised the students to be more concerned about world environmental issues.

 Books about environmental pretention and the issues of pollution were handed to the principal as presents. Next, a documentary titled  “ A QUIET REVOLUTION”  were shown during assembly. Three touching stories that portray the serious uses of pollution, poor and the unfair treatment of living things gave students much to think about.

The exhibition was held for three days. It is hoped that such events will help students to better understand issues planning our Earth.
