On the
19th August,2011,a team of teachers and lecturers
from the republic of Korea paid a visit to our
school. This friendly visit was one of the
programmers launched by the ' Policy and
International Relations Division' under the Ministry
of Education. the Korean educators visited several
other primary and secondary schools in Selangor and
Kuala Lumpur.
The main objective of the educational visit is to
strengthen the educational cooperation between
Malaysia and the Republic of Korea. Besides, it also
aims to enhance the two countries' relations through
participation in contributions and efforts to
achieve excellence in the field of education.
With this interesting visit, SMJK Yu Hua hopes that
a closer bilateral relation with the Republic of
Korea has been established and that in the future,
more efforts and programmers will be launched to
further strengthen Malaysia's ties with the Republic
of Korea.
The Programme
10.00am
The guest from Korea arrived and together with
several perfects, the teacher of SMJK Yu Hua greeted
them at school gates and welcomed them to our
school's the school lobby, we took a group photo
with the guests. The Koreans came with an
interpreter, who spoke English and Korean language
fluently, so we could communicate with them although
most of them could not converse in English very
well.
10.10-10.40am
We brought the visitors a tour to our school.
10.40-11.00am
The guest were brought up to the Seminar room.Mr
Chan Kai Choon, our school Principal, gave him
welcome speech and this was followed by a speech
given by the representative of the Koreans group.
11.00-11.20am
Mr Nagaya gave a talk about our school's
co-curricular activities to the Korean guests.
11.20-11.30am
There was a lovely presentation of souvenirs between
our school and the Korean guests.
11.30-12.00pm
The guest were entertained by our students, who gave
3 wonderful performances. The first was by Chinese
Orchestra group. The second performances was by the
Traditional Dance Troupe and the last performances
was presented by our Harmonica Club. They presented
3 beautiful and lively songs for the Korean guests,
who enjoyed the performances very much.
12.00-12.30pm
Lastly, we had refreshments and it was a time of
interaction again with the Korean guests. There was
a brief question -answer session before they left
our school at 12.30pm.
