"Teachers: Glorious Human Capital generator"

On 16^th  May 2007, SMJK Yu Hua Kajang celebrated  Teacher’s Day. This celebration for the morning and afternoon session was carried out in the school's Hall. It was an examination day though, but we managed well.

For the morning session, the ceremony  started with a speech from our Minister of Education YB Dato' Seri  Hishamuddin Tun Hussein presented Pn. Maisarah, followed by a speech from the Director General of Education Dato' Dr. Haji Ahamad bin Sipon, presented Pn. Noreza. Our acting headmistress, Puan Chang Keng Ling gave her speech right after that.  The chairman of PIBG, Mr.Tan Keat Seng continued with his speech, thanking teachers for their sheer dedication and commitment towards building this school to where it is today. Our head prefect gave his speech just after that.

 Teachers took The Oath of Education. All the teachers in the school repeated their wows towards making good citizens out of us students. This was followed by the an Award  given to the teachers who did not absent themselves for the whole year beginning 16-5-2006 - 16-5-2007 by the treasurer of PIBG SMJK Yu Hua.

A series of eye-opening shows were presented by the students of SMJK Yu Hua. After that, presents was given to the teachers by Mr.Tan Keat Seng.

The  afternoon session  ceremony started off with a speech from our Minister of Education. This time, it was presented Mr. Mcmanus, followed by a speech from the Director General of  Education , presented Mr. Teo Wei Sing. Puan Chang Keng Ling gave her text right after that. Next, a speech from the chairman of PIBG, Mr.Tan Keat Seng was given; followed by a speech from the head prefect, Chong Wei Huey.

Again,  teachers took The Oath of Education, followed by singing the song “Guru Malaysia” and “Malaysia Berjaya”. After that, punctuality (or rather consistency in school attendance) award was given to the teachers by the PIBG treasurer. All  the teachers were giving a token of appreciation from the students as they walk up to the stage, pinned corsages and gave away little nifty but "valuable" gifts to teachers attending this glorious ceremony.

A series of eye-opening shows were presented by the students of SMJK Yu Hua. It started with a song  by the champion of the Yu Hua Idol 2007, Chong Jenn Yih and accompanied with musical instruments by his friends. A wonderful malay traditional song was presented by Jorinn Chee. After that, a malay poem written by Mr. Teo Wei Sing was presented by two of his students, Wong Shi Huan and Yeow Minyi. Next, Angel Siow presented her song “Rainbows Smile”.

Our versatile teachers, Miss. Koh and Mrs. Salina presented a song “I Have a Dream”, followed by a poem recitation by Liow Yun Yao and Wong Jia Yi. This poem was written by Mr. McManus. Next, Ngoo Yo Zi presented a song from her new album, followed by a song sang by Lim Jin Yi.

A malay poem, “Guru Oh Guru” was presented by Pn. Kamisah, Mr. McManus and Pn. Gan. Next, a special Thai song was presented by Pn. Ku Lian Si and her student, Santik Sengthong.

The teachers’ cantata was lead by Mr. McManus and Pn. Mariam. Presents were given to the teachers by Fanny. A series of games was organized by the 988 DJs. Our Teachers Day’s celebrations ended successfully.
