On 25^th June 2007, SMJK Yu Hua invited six hair stylists  to our school to demonstrate hair cutting technique and at the same time, give free cut to students whose hair length do not meet up to school's requirement. Yu Hua school boy's  hair standard is the crew cut or "semi botak".

          Before the hair cutting session started, Madam Chua Mooi Kim, our counseling teacher introduced the hair stylists to the students right after the Monday morning assembly. Students were shocked, amazed and looked at them in awe. Madam Chua also talked about the career as a hair stylist as an interesting profession. She also asked Mr. E’vis to talk about his profession and introduce himself to the students.

          The company, “Sense”; has been established for 3 years and is owned by Mr. E’vis. Sense is located in Bandar Teknologi Kajang, Semenyih, Selangor. The company consists of hair stylists, make-up artist and manicure specialist.

         The hair cutting session started at 8.30 a.m. Our discipline teachers identified student who have their hair which is not upto the Yu Hua standard. The hair cutting session was held  inside the  hall.

          There were 4 seats at the time. The hair stylists crop the students hair with their skills and techniques to make our SMJK Yu Hua students' hair to be neat, uniformed and up to the school hair standard.

         At the end of the session, some lucky student received a 20% discount for hairdressing at Sense salon.
