On 23rd until 25^th April 2008, a Chinese Language Book Exhibition took place at SMJK Yu Hua. A variety of books were sold such as novels, comics, fairy tales, dictionaries and more. Most of the teachers, parents, and students patronised the book exhibition.

This book fair is held annually. That is why the book exhibition is always crowded with people. Most of the Chinese teachers encouraged the students to read. Reading would help them improve in their writing.
