Happy Teacher Day To All Teachers in
the World
On the 23rd of May 2008, SMJK Yu
Hua Kajang celebrated Teacher’s Day. The celebration
for the morning and afternoon session were carried
out in the School Hall.

Performance from the school's Lion
Dance Troupe
For the morning session, the ceremony started
off with a performance from the school’s Lion Dance
Troupe. This was followed by a speech
from our principal, Mr. Chan Kai Choon . The vice-chairman of
our school's PIBG, Mr.
Kua Ken Seng gave a speech after that,
thanking teachers for their sheer dedication to
build up the school to the next pedestal of
achievement.
After an
inspiring speech given by Mr. Kua, the students'
representative, Lee Qing Zhi, gave a short speech.

speech
After
the speeches, all teachers stood up and sang several
patriotic and evergreen songs, led by Mr. Pradeep,
our school's WebMaster. Before this, the
teachers took an Oath of Service. All the
teachers in the school repeated their wows towards
making good citizens out of us students. This show
of allegiance was
rewarded with a big round of applause from the
students.

Our teachers sang several songs
(En Pradeep, Pn Ong Yi lee, Datin Yeoh)
The ceremony was continued
with a series of performances by the
students of Yu Hua such as Hip-Hop Dancing, Guitar
shows, and many more.

At the middle of the
shows,
all the
teachers were giving a token of appreciation from
the students as they walk up to the stage, pinned
corsages and gave away little nifty but "valuable"
gifts to teachers attending this glorious ceremony
and then followed by the performances by the versatile
teacher, Mrs. Salina and 2006 Yu Hua Idol Champion,
Chee Ka Yee.

Their performances were
outstanding and fantastic. The show continued with
students' performances again. Lastly, the
celebration closed with a fabulous band performances. Our morning
session's Teachers
Day’s celebrations ended successfully.

Final performance performed by the
band
This year Teacher's Day was slightly
different and very much better compared to previous years.
There were no Exams on that day and this was a
welcomed change. Our principal,
Mr. Chan allowed the students to organize class
parties at
selected classrooms after the ceremony. There were
numerous games planned by the Staff Club that saw
participation from both students and teachers. We
hope that Teacher's Day would be celebrated in the
same mood in the years to come.
Happy Teacher Day to
all the teachers all over the world especially to all teachers in
SMJK Yu Hua.
